User Experience Principles with Billy Hollis

Okay, here's the deal. We're not behind on modern, mobile, touch-based technologies. Microsoft's entries are as good as or better than anything out there. Where we *are* behind is the will, determination, and skills to use those technologies to create better designs. This session challenges you to do better. See real projects that produced stunning results, hear about the most important concepts you've probably never applied to app design before, and learn about options to follow your own path to adding the skills for designing modern apps.
Different viewpoints are so awesomely valuable when it comes to design. Really looking forward to seeing what's out there that I haven't thought of.
Any chance Billy can be convinced to add more sessions?

At 48:14, Billy wonders why the Cosmopolitan was designed the like a "fort".
According to the Rockwell Group's website (http://www.rockwellgroup.com/projects/entry/the-cosmopolitan-of-las-vegas):
The nearly 3,000 guest rooms are designed like chic, urban, luxury residences. Each room is filled with custom furniture, and layered in custom materials and finishes to give every guest a unique sense of city living, even if they're just there for the weekend.
Always like to hear Billy speak. His view and take on our field is awesome!
