In June, 2012 Windows Azure introduced infrastructure services (IaaS) to enable customers to be more flexible and in control of their application infrastructure. Since then, we have worked with a number of customers that have successfully deployed their solutions on Windows Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) and Virtual Networks. During this presentation, we go over a case study on the process that one of our customers went through while migrating their current applications on to Virtual Machines. Learn about customer solution architectures that are currently running on Virtual Machines, lessons learned while deploying applications on Virtual Machines, best practices applied by some of our key customers, and using Microsoft SQL Server in Virtual Machines.
