Join this session to learn about the advances in core network infrastructure services – DNS, DHCP and IP Address Management (IPAM) – in Windows Server 2012 R2 and how to implement them in your private, public, and hybrid cloud deployments.  IPAM implements several major enhancements to support virtualized datacenter and cloud environments; fine grained DHCP management; granular role-based access control/delegated administration across multiple data centers; complete PowerShell support; support for external SQL-based database server; and a framework for third-party DHCP/DNS servers. DNS supports per-zone query metrics to support managed services. DHCP includes improvements to power-constrained devices, enhanced policy-based address assignment capabilities, and integrates fully with IPAM for single-console management of the even very large DHCP deployments.
