Description

SQL Server has been massively used by organizations of various sizes as the RDBMS of choice. Windows Azure Virtual Machines opens a new door for running SQL Server in the cloud in support of new and existing applications. What is more, when full SQL Server feature parity is needed, Virtual Machines is the answer. In this session, we look at SQL Server running in Windows Azure Virtual Machines and how we can use it to achieve a Highly Available environment for our RDBMS. NOTE: The level for this session is now level 300.

      HA for SQL Azure - just to warrant uptime during SQL and/or OS patching? What about license and uptime cost for the additional Azure VM(s)?
