I'm confused as to the tech behind SP 2013 search. Is it still using FAST? Can it be used to index and query other websites? Does it have a normal web crawler built in? How does it handle changing SP list-level security? Is an OpenSearch format implemented for federation in another site's search (most likely with a web service)?
Thanks!
