If your environment includes more than just Microsoft Windows operating systems, Configuration Manager 2012 SP1 provides support for various non-Windows operating systems. In this lab, implement an environment that includes not only Windows clients, but also a Linux client. Prepare the Configuration Manager 2012 SP1 environment to support Linux/Unix servers as Configuration Manager 2012 clients, install the Configuration Manager 2012 SP1 client agent on a Linux computer, and implement inventory and software distribution features to manage the Linux computer.
