Attend this session to learn how two dramatically different teams at Microsoft make use of Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Visual Studio Online (VSO) to manage their software development projects. The Developer Division, responsible for building massive software projects such as Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server, has been on a multi-year journey to become more agile and accelerate from shipping once every two years to shipping multiple times per year. The Developer and Platform Evangelism (DPE) team maintains a yearly portfolio of several hundred smaller development projects, built by hundreds of geographically distributed employees, partners, and vendors. Both teams utilize TFS/VSO, and in this session hear their adoption stories and take back practical lessons you can apply to your own team’s journey.
