What's new with PowerShell
With 2691 commits and 2200 PRs merged, the PowerShell modules for Azure have received a lot of updates in one year! You will learn about the improvements in terms of security and authentication, support for all azure services, and our update process. We will discuss our recent announcement to retire AzureRM module and show how we simplified the upgrade process to Az. Finally you will see how AI meets PowerShell to deliver a whole new command line experience.
- Damien Caro is the PM for Azure PowerShell modules. A big fan of DevOps from the very beginning, he helped many customers around the world be more successful with their practices.
- Jason Helmick is a 30-year IT veteran and a Program Manager on the PowerShell team at Microsoft. He's an avid supporter of the DevOps/PowerShell community and former CFO of PowerShell.Org. He is a former multi-year award recipient MVP and co-authored several books on PowerShell, Exchange and IIS.
- Mike Robbins is the lead technical writer for Azure PowerShell at Microsoft. He is a former Microsoft MVP, creator of The PowerShell Conference Book, author of PowerShell 101: The No-Nonsense Beginner's Guide to PowerShell, co-author of Windows PowerShell TFM 4th Edition, and a contributing author of a chapter in the PowerShell Deep Dives book.
