Description

With the introduction of One ASP.NET in Visual Studio 2013 working with multiple frameworks in a single project is made significantly easier, enabling developers to combine Web Forms, MVC, Web API and other project templates together using an enhanced new project dialog. In this video we'll show you how the new approach works, how it integrates with a new security wizard and what MVC scaffolding can do once a web project is created.

Why all faces are so... old. Software development is not popular amongst youngsters anymore?

I don't see many young faces in software development business last 10 years.

Was wondering how a file got into my web files called "aspnet_client" that I can not delete. GoDaddy is my ISP, did THEY put that in there? Why?

Has anybody figured out how to create a custom One ASP.NET project template?

I have the same question as tarkus.

In particular, I am looking for a way to add a custom template to the New ASP.Net Project dialog (e.g., there would be a new icon listed after the existing choices of Empty, Web Forms, MVC, Web API, Single Page Application, Facebook). Is this possible? Is there any documentation on how to do this? Scott Hanselman at his Build talk implied that this was the goal, but not sure if that is possible yet.
