We will take a stroll through the new features in the recently released, Kinect for Windows 1.8 SDK: how to use HTML5/Javascript to build Kinect apps, the brand-new Background Removal API, and full color support in Kinect Fusion. Then we will take a look at the upcoming new Kinect sensor and see how things will improve with its HD camera, wider field-of-view, and improved depth and skeletal tracking.
