Storage Class Memory (SCM) has finally become a reality in the marketplace.  With the availability of flash backed DIMMs and the announcement of 3D XPoint as well other technologies; products are now available that provide faster than NAND latencies, persistent storage, and memory bus access.  How will Windows be enabled for such SCM products and how can applications take advantage of these capabilities?  To be successful, SCM enablement must be done in a way that provides improved value for current applications while providing for new application paradigms. This presentation provides an overview of the Windows platform support as well as the impact to both minifilters and legacy filters

    Great video! Even though it's only drawing board right now, in the next DAX video please talk more about execute-in-place and other low-level changes to Windows, and a very rough timeline of when various DAX or kernel changes will be available, especially for mobile devices and VMs. Thanks!
