As has been pointed out many times before, smoking affects other, and not just yourself. It will affect the friends that you socialise with, not just by second hand smoke.
I have a very close friend who smokes, and I don't mean occasional, I have seen them go through packets a day, and although I am disgusted by the habit and the smell, it really hurts me to see them do this to themselves.
Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do about this, and it's up to them to stop. Even though there is a risk of getting ill from second hand smoke, I can't abandon my friends.
The point of this message is to those smokers who don't believe their second hand smoke will affect others, or those who just don't care, your friends and family are still affected by watching you do this, imagine what it's like watching your friend kill themselves
You may not be worried about your health, but your friends/family are, please stop.

This topic isn't one that no smoking in public places can stop, and the only way to prevent it is to quit, thanks.
Get over it. It's an individuals choice. They know the facts, if they continue then so be it. Just cause you don't like it, doesn't mean that your opinion is the right one. If your friend want to smoke then it's their choice. Yes it's bad, yes it's unhealthy
but it's their choice so you have to deal with it and stop trying to enforce your opinion on your friends.
Great, another idiot just signing up so he can get his 'gmail account'.
