    1. It's not "who" it's "what"

    2. "Religious wars" are completely pointless. Very few here have sufficient experience of both environments to be ABLE to comment objectively on the relative strengths and even those who could tend to focus instead on emotional viewpoints that are based on personal bias rather than objectivity.

    3. For reasons why Linux is better than Microsoft read any one of the 3000 rants posts on the subject Beer28 has made in the last fortnight.

    4. For reasons why Microsoft is better than Linux read any number of posts made by Cybermagellan since he decided he wanted to apply for a job with Microsoft a few weeks ago.

    Ever used a fully configured Slackware installation with an attractive Gnome Skin installed?

    Granted, I haven't either, but from what I've tried (Ubuntu w/ Gnome), I'm certainly pleased.
