If its any indication, WinFX is programmed exclusively from managed code. They claim this is their API for the next 20 years, and that they spent 20 years tinkering with the last API gives that some credence.
Hence my predictions for .NET in 2011:
1) It will exist.
2) C# will continue down the road of "look dynamic without really being it."
3) Some beginning ideas on multithreadded paradigms that won't really work yet.
4) "The answer to all your problems" will be shipping in about eight months
