    I'm thankful that I dont live in the southern east coast, especially near the golf coast. There are way to many devistating hurricanes and even tornadoes that sweep that region annually.

    I'll take fog, rain, and snow anyday over that crap. Smiley

    Regards,
    Vincent

    Looks like a nice place you've got there.

    Backs up to the woods... must be quiet and peaceful most days.

    That sucks man.  But at least it is only property damage and you are alright.

    I'm trying to figure out where to go myself.  It is supposed to flood near my home, and flood near my shore house, and all the casino's are booked up.  Hmm.

    Approximately how cold is there in farenheits/celsius? Sorry but what "cold" means to you, because I don't have idea how cold there is in NC/USA in the winter Smiley. We have ~ +30C in the summer and -30C in the winter.

    -30C = -22F
    30C = 86F

    The coldest its ever gotten here in winter is 15 below zero, thats a rarity and only happens occasionally.  Ussually the 20's and teens are the coldest it gets.  The summer it can get hot.  This summer we had some days that were 115 degrees.

    My younger brothers girlfriend sent me pictures of the damage they had.  They live out in Goldsboro.  Luckily they live at a high enough spot that the flood waters didnt reach em but he has an insta-lake now where his driveway begins and tomorrow I have to go help him get his truck out.  I added the pictures to Flickr

    Finally finished cutting up the tree.  Lot of hard work.  My daughters Jeep Liberty and my truck made it out without a scratch.
