I use view source a lot when developing sites to check the code my backend is producing, about 25% of the time I try it, it doesn't work.

I can right click view source or Page > view source and nothing happens.

    Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm on vista ultimate, viewing source in good old notepad.

In old IE6 on XP emptying the Temporary Internet Files folder did the trick ...

Thanks, I'll give it a go, but it seems to be too random for that.

I just had C9 in one tab and a page i'm working on in another, I could view C9 source but not mine.

    It's bizarre.

Wink  Not at all!  I simply saw the opportunity for a good joke based upon his own unfortunate choice of words.

I have nothing against the good man.

Used to happen to me. Get Notepad++ and set it as default. Its an ace program brilliant for HTML etc. (thats all ive ever done with it) and has collapsable sections etc.

I wrote small pages - the good old Blue screen error page - did a complete replica and put IE on full screen... dad cr*pped himself Smiley

    Muahahaha!

If Blackberrys are addictive cellphones, Channel9 is the ultimate addictive website.
