make a non-porn website to host the content. And upgrade that to porn website later Angel

Leaving WM on 5/2018 if no apps, no dedicated billboards where I drive, no Store name.

Thanks... but no thanks. Are we all kids now? First Apple, and now Microsoft? Daddy can I please have that app? "No, it's no good for you! Me and you mom knows best."

    Give me a break. *pukes*

What limitations are they thinking of putting on netbook OSes in future?... and what is to stop them doing the same on PCs?

Why is mobile different than a PC? Why do they lock it down? WHAT IS GOING ON? Everyone gone insane? How is this acceptable?

Imagine if MS-DOS came out and you weren't allowed to dev certain things on it...

Just because the cellphone doesn't look like a PC, they can do whatever they want with it? Is it its size?

    ...am I missing something here?

Yes. A phone is not a PC. Took years for Microsoft to figure it out, but it looks like they finally got it.

That;'s fairly standard for any non-pr0n website -

"Publish, post, upload, distribute or disseminate any inappropriate, profane, defamatory, obscene, indecent or unlawful topic, name, material or information." - http://channel9.msdn.com/Terms/

"You will not post content that: is hateful, threatening, or pornographic; incites violence; or contains nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence" - http://www.facebook.com/terms.php?ref=pf

Someone else deciding what you can and can't run is a, sadly inevitable, consequence of using third party marketplaces. It what really p!sses me off about all this you must use our marketplace nonsense. TBH I don't care how conistent approval procedures are, it's up to ME if I think I should be able to run a baby shaker app on MY phone that I purchased with MY money for MY use. Of course no app store would ever stock such an app, because of this thing called corporate responsibility, however it's not up to Mr. CEO to decide whether I can go straight to the devs and download it or not (not unless he's lending me the phone, anyway).

(The above is a hypothetical example. I don't actually want to run the babyshaker app myself)
