that site.... uses tables for page layout and inline javascript!

Pure evil! (Almost as evil as Internet Explorer!)

If you're going to hire me... let me handle the client-side, I swear by XHTML1.1

Yes its using ASP and SQL 2000 database

    Thanks W3bbo
But its not very important at this time we can fix that later, and we can convert it to XHTML

Its easier to start off with semantic XHTML than it is to "convert" a site, especilly when you're using some kind of server-side generation, since the code layout is often waaay different, you will have to recode lots. Especilly with ASP.Net's webcontrols.

You know you can't get fully valid XHTML with ASP.NET? Without resorting to third party controls.

I've had no issues.... it's just the built-in ASP.Net webcontrols that're the issue. I mainly use HtmlControls, and I've had no problems whatsoever.

What does that have to do with anything Farshad posted?

His are technical skills. Yours are... I don't know what.

leighsword, everytime you post something, in my impression, you try to make the stuff somebody said look bad. Is this neccessary?
Like this post. Farshad posted his technical skills, meaning, what he has worked with and what he thinks he's good at. Why do you have to goof on that?

this person seems one time to almost be for real -- as in asks a good question.
then kills it with some lame, dumb post that seems designed to instigate a flood of hatefull posts.
