Gragh, Google toolbar is being bundled with WinZip, and you can't opt out.  This happened to me with DivX, and uninstalling the thing was a reall PITA.
What happened to "Don't be evil"?  If I can't opt out of the toolbar installer, then I'm just not going to install anything at all then.

I heard this a lot but never tried it untill I had to unzip a RAR archive.  It was only then I realized it supports .ZIP formats and is completely without nag notices.  Now I have to agree, it is way better.

WinZip has only one thing going for it: it was made by a Dutchman. Smiley

But I still use WinRAR anyway.

Yes, Niko is a relatively common Dutch first name. Mak is a not-so-common last name, but as a Dutch person myself who also speaks Japanese, let me assure it's not a very likely Japanese name at all.

I use Stuffit for all my Zip unzip needs, the only real sofware gotcha I kept from my Mac days
