The European Commission said it had raided offices of Intel Corp and computer makers and sellers across Europe.

Was it last year that Intel were really cool because they were seriously investing in Linux?

Oh come on, I thought that this was ancient history by now.

They kept investing in RedHat since 1998 and, as far as I know, the practice hasn't stopped.

There's this nifty repository of information called the World Wide Web. It's simply amazing what you can learn out there.

For starters, Intel is a member of the Open Source Development Labs [source: OSDL website], and contributes to funding the Linux Legal Defense Fund [source: OSDL Annual Report to Members 2004].
