Houston is a long drive. What are partners, if anything, going to get this year?

Please don't say sales training materials.

Microsoft is very demanding on it's employees and partners.

As a partner, I am going to demand that Microsoft meet this goal.

    Within 2 months before WPC

Mundie went on to talk about a new type of smartphone technology he had seen in the labs. When the user looks at the phone, "instead of seeing a screen it can beam individual rays of light into your eyes right on your retina ... [so] you can look at your phone and see HDTV".

Make good on this, and deliver the Microsoft version of Google Glass, and give every partner at WPC a prototype for free with the regular admission.

If somebody from Microsoft can get on here and commit to that I will go this year and drive to Houston.

If you can't ask yourself why you can't and why you are even in the hardware and software business to begin with?

Microsoft supposedly had this technology over 2 long years ago.

So there is my WPC challenge to partner Microsoft. Go Microsoft, show the world how good you are or aren't.

Buy a pony then. Problem solved.

Is there any reason Microsoft can't piece together a pair of glasses with a heads up display?
According to Craig Mundie this is old March 2011 hat for them.

A 10 year old could create such a prototype with a free CAD program and a cheap 3D printer from Kickstarter.

Why can't a huge software company with the brightest people out of ivy league colleges at top dollar do that?

Microsoft is starting to look like a members only yachting or golf club for people who want a tech vacation with no stress, deadlines or accountability.

No, I want Microsoft to genetically engineer me a pony that's intelligent enough to be a fine companion, and lives long enough to be around a long time. Pegasus wings would be a plus. Oh, and make it blue.
