in the Credentials Manager I have an entry for "virtualapp/didlogical", and I am not alone with this:
http://www.google.com/#sclient=psy&hl=en&q=virtualapp%2Fdidlogical&aq=f&aqi=g1g-m1g-o1&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&pbx=1&fp=911b4f7d191d70edIt seems to be widespread. There are many threads about this on Microsoft's social.answers site, and most people think that the entry is created by Windows Live:
http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7security/thread/6962dc73-5a63-4ca6-8991-3fee9253e3e0Though, there is no official answer from Microsoft. Can the WL team provide a definite answer to this?
@wastingtimewithforums: I've asked somebody who can get the answer. Stay tuned...C
I guess it may come from something like AppV / RemoteApp, pure speculation
@felix9:Well it's not VPC; and on my home laptop it's there with no AppV installed.
Funny, I'd forgotten all about that thread. Working with Charles to see if we can get an answer.
Official answer: Yes. This credential is created by and used by Wndows Live. C
This info should be put on the Windows Live site, this will calm down many scared people.
@wastingtimewithforums: It should show up at some point. In the meantime, point folks to this thread. C
