Lucky enough to catch this on the largest IMAX 3D screen in Europe and have to say I really enjoyed it!.  I know a lot of people have problems with Tom Cruise and his personal life/religion but I have to say he is great in this (as is Emily Blunt).

Go see it on the biggest 3D screen you can find and prepare to be entertained!! :)

(I also posted a blog review)

Tom Cruise the person is annoying.  Tom Cruise the actor is usually pretty good.

Probably for the same reason :)

I recommend reading the book that it's based on, "All You Need is Kill".

The movie doesn't look interesting to me. I don't like Tom Cruise because he always plays himself. See also, Nicolas Cage.

Now compare those stooges with the likes of Gary Oldman... no comparison.

When the movie starts off Tom Cruise plays a coward (but yes, then later he turns into Tom Cruise) :)

Nicholas Cage has definitely mellowed with age ...

If you plan to see the movie later, don't read the book now.

Read the book before the film ruins your experience.

Having seen the film I might give. the book a try over the Summer.  Off to see it again this week as promised my wife and other daughter that I would take them.  I never like seeing a film more than once but I think this film might be an exception?

Well, one of those stooges owns an Academy Award, while Gary Oldman does not. Just sayin'. ;)

Gary Oldman played Johnny Rotten better than John Lydon did :)

A little scary to think that Gary Oldman is actually older than Sid Vicious would be if he were still alive.

I saw the movie. I liked it.

If you have ever seen the movie Ground Hogs Day with Bill Murray you have also already seen this tom cruise movie.

Also if you have ever played a computer game where you learn as you go, then get killed and start again, this time applying what you just learned then ..... :)

So, it's like he's a developer and he keeps trying to get his code to compile?
