I used User Agent Switcher in the WP Marketplace. It is a simple shell app around IE for WP that allows you to switch to various user agents. When setting it to anything other than "Windows Phone", maps.google.com renders just fine. What ever happened to using standards and then if the browser doesn't adhere to the standards, then only does it not render fine?

So Google is basically lying about compatibility issues. If anyone still thinks this isn't Evil then you need a recalibration of what Evil is.

In the big scheme of things, I don't believe they will be able to affect WP marketshare with these tactics. However the good thing is that this will hopefully open some people's eyes that think Google can do nothing bad.

It sure didn't take Google long to start using that blank check the FTC just gave them.
