    Remember this?

Well it's reared its ugly head again - and this time it's Microsoft themselves taking advantage! Could this be an NSA national security letter conspiracy? I think so!

Hehe, reminds me of when I was watching one of the Microsoft events about Kinect on my 360 with Kinect attached. The presenter demonstrating said something along the lines of "Xbox Music" and the 360 dutifully decided to obey....

I would be pissed if the ads works while I kept screaming Xbox On and nothing happens.

Leaving WM on 5/2018 if no apps, no dedicated billboards where I drive, no Store name.

"Microsoft, your voice recognition works too well!"

Anyone else think they did this on purpose? ;)

You need to learn to talk like Aaron Paul.

A very clever marketing stunt if ever I saw one.

    Nicely done.

I see only two solutions, either beep out the crucial trigger word of these commands or as an end user use HDMI passthrough with XBOX One so it can filter out broadcast noise... Other options? ;)

I believe the Kinect's mic array can do some level of positional detection. I wonder if they can use it to only respond to the tracked persons in the room. IOW, if the sound isn't coming from one of the tracked persons, ignore it.

EDIT: Or learn and then use speaker recognition to filter out unknown speakers.

BitFliper - speaker recognition is a great idea

    On a side note:
This should be a PS4 commercial ... Actor says "Go get a PS4 and turn that...XBOX OFF"
