Is there any way of i can get the links of the videos easily?
What I usually do is copy all the links of the sessions I'm interested and download them using a download manager.
I can't do that right now, I can't right click in the SilverLight player, if i click the link in IE automagically opens the media player, if i click the link in Firefox opens a new windows and then asks me with what application i want to open the file.
All I want is a freaking link so I don't have to be in front of the computer while I download the videos.
What I ended doing was start downloading in Firefox and copy the link from there to my download manager (downloading the keynote will last 16 hours, that's why I want a download manager)
Yes, it is a bit frustrating but if you click on the link it will open in a browser window before launching media player (at least it does with IE9) this gives you a chance to copy ther url and paste into Free Download Manager.
We need a Silverlight 'Save As' option guys ..
@Ian2 Does that work? Wouldn't you just be downloading the ISML file?
I know the PDC team are working on a download solution but I'm not sure if it's been implemented yet.
Looks like it is downloading something ..picked up the URL for "CD07_High.mp4" as
@dentaku: They will be. We're going to start publishing soon.
I know this might piss off the Microsoft fanbois who never had the opportunity, but I have been on Microsoft's campus multiple times. And I assure you it consists almost entirely of boring office buildings with equally boring offices. I find that the most interesting thing on the whole Redmond campus is in fact the "the Mixer", which is some sort of central food court.
And I don't think Channel 9 has secrat access to the GIANT LASER OF DEATH that Ballmer and Gates is secretly holding in building 7.
