Remember when you bought a version of Visual Studio it came with what seemed more books than an average encyclopedia set? I know all electronic now and many trees are happy.
Actually my question is when you used to buy VS you got a poster with all of the C++ libraries and then later all of the .NET. Does Microsoft or someone else still do those? Looking for .NET 4.5, or even a set of all. Ok I am know I am old school but they do help.
4.5 is just released but if you keep an eye on the MSDN blog-o-sphere there might be someone who makes an unofficial poster.
The last "official" MSDN one I have found is 3.5. Lots of unofficial ones out there.
I do remember getting an MFC poster with Visual C++ 6.
But .NET is a lot bigger than MFC. How big would that poster need to be? Even just System.Data would take up a whole wall.
I also remember putting those posters up, and nobody looking at them =)
Somewhere there is a "what's new in 4.5" poster. That combined with the 4.0 poster might help.
