    Constructive feedback gratefully recieved ...

    • The Target Graphic looks a bit shitty at full res.
    • Top Scorers allows swear words and blank "Your Name" entries
    • Daily Rank txt is sometimes repeated twice.

    Why are you keep shooting at the nice  lady? Devil

    @magicalclick:Um, that was a mistake

    guns = bad, no guns = good,

    bad = + points, good = - points

    Make it a one-shot kill.

    Why are the targets levitating over a wooden floor?

    Needs more animations/fanciness. Seems rather bland to me.

    Add some shadows to match the real world would be more convincing. And also add some radar or indicators if the bad guy is out of viewport. It is cool to know something out of view, and you turn around and shoot him.

    I was thinking about same type to game, it is cool you are making it, so I don't have to heheh.

    Add some weapon type, weapon level, with zombies approaching is cool too.

    I think the figures are too small and can be too crowded together...

    The selling point is definitely the augmented reality right? and I don't know how accurate MS let you be but it would be cool to more accurately track the virtual objects on there.

    I think the phone form factor is too small for twitchy games like this one... If you can create a more cerebral game, it might increase the fun factor

    But a fine effort overall

    Make it a one-shot kill.

    I played with this idea but havn't gone with it for a few reasons:

    1. It makes the gameplay feel slower

    2. It doesn't match real life (admitedly this does'nt really matter too much!)

    Why are the targets levitating over a wooden floor?

    Because my coding isn't smart enough (yet)

    Needs more animations/fanciness. Seems rather bland to me.

    The gameplay gets more dynamic as you work through the levels (the video is level 1)

    That said I am planning on adding rougue targets that move and animate from being 'good guys' to 'bad guys that draw a gun and shoot you unless you get them first'.  (But of course I may not be clever enough)

    Add some shadows to match the real world would be more convincing. And also add some radar or indicators if the bad guy is out of viewport. It is cool to know something out of view, and you turn around and shoot him.

    I will look into it but my concern would be in making the shadows behave themselves in the virtual environment rather than just being static.

    There is a radar already that shows where the targets are popping up (as you progress through levels tey pop up behind you  so this is needed.  Maybe the radar is too small at the moment?

    I think the figures are too small and can be too crowded together...

    It is difficult to size them based on how you play the game.  If you play on a table top the smaller size is quite good, if you play in a room then larger figures are better.  I could add a 'target size' option quite easily (but ideally I want the phone to have Kinect built into it so that this wouldn't be necessary!)

    The selling point is definitely the augmented reality right? and I don't know how accurate MS let you be but it would be cool to more accurately track the virtual objects on there.

    Accuracy is down to two things - the hardware in the phone (newer models include a gyro and are better) and also my coding skills.  I can certainly work on the latter and hopefully get things as optimised as possible.

    Thanks for the feedback guys, I really appreciate it.
