It's the other way around. Microsoft is not known for high-quality UX design, that's Apple's forte; and that's why Apple's winning in the 'customer satisfaction' department. When was the last time Windows made you addicted to simply playing with the product? I've had my iPhone a while now and I still can't stop myself from idly flicking th home-screen and childishly giggling at it.
