@ScanIAm: Hah! I must have missed that one.  So is Chris Alcock a 9er?  Come out, come out, wherever you are ...

And what do you do when someone, such as myself has more 'Cheevos' (for the record practically every gamer I know despises this terminology) and clearly has a higher skill level, while at the same time also manages to maintain their dignity and self-respect.

This is the internet; we have no use for dignity or self-respect! Tongue Out

@Clown: By "higher skill level" you better be talking about getting 1000/1000 in Hannah Montana.

Haha god no, I wouldn't touch that game. In all honesty, nobody can really seem to figure out if Bboy is either one of the most committed trolls ever encountered or he actually believes in this fictional celebrity status he has given himself. He is more or less a joke, but at least he keeps us entertained.

I've covered that topic many times, and it's even on the FAQ on the cheevos.com site.  Basically if I meet someone at a club or a party that has more cheevos than me, I buy them a drink and leave.  I'm not saying I'm the best, but better than about 99%.  Sort of the plot of my reality movie actually, I meet a gamerchick with more than me and see what happens to me.  Totally Krispix(female gamer chick leader) and Choskie 150k have confirmed to be in my movie.  You can see that they're both on my xbox live friends list too (How's that for some cred).

@Dan276: Phooey, who needs cheevos when I've got a pretty smoking N7 challenge rating. In fact, I'm in the top 1% for those according to that site.

Beat that, and then we'll talk. Tongue Out

    Office Cheevos?

    I just unlocked "Inbox Zero".

that has to be the canonical Office cheevo...

    I even amaze myself sometimes.

Fact: I got a email from LinkedIn saying my resume was in the top 5% viewed of 2012

Fact: I didn't get that email in 2011

Fact: The only thing in my resume that I added in 2012 was my cheevos/gamerscore because I hit 80 and didn't want to add it before I did that.

Here's a link to a screen shot of that email:

Oh and I'm not and haven't been looking for a job in years, so I my cv is private now, too many headhunters.  Just some advice for people looking for a job

I have to admit that is clever marketing on LinkedIn's behalf, lots of vain people were happy to tweet links to linked over the weekend.

  • kettch

@blowdart: And it would be easy to get your resume in the top x% if you were already doing plenty of self promotion and SEO directed at your web presence.

@kettch: TBH, I think there are a lot of people who saw this thread and visited his linked-in page just to look.

I'm not sure many of them are headhunters though.

  • kettch

@evildictaitor: If not a troll of great cunning, he's certainly been successful at riding the coattails of C9's insanely high search ranking.

No, this thread started in 2013

Cheevos christ! I go away for a few months and discovery I nearly missed out on!

Maybe not here... but I'm sure there is no chance that that you've referenced it elsewhere in such long threads about such nonsense.

Or to quote you (in part) a few pages (10) into that thread:

Oh and yeah I'm gonna get torched on this message board cus I don't have as many Cheevos as most of you. This board is one of the rare places where I don't have as much cred.

    Time to say Places++?

  • cbae

@Dan276: You need to update your self-worth equation to replace MySpace friends with mentions on Ping. Getting mentioned on Ping is far more noteworthy.

    You're welcome.

  • RealBboy360

Thanks, that was pretty awsome.  I checked out the gamerloop site.  Wow, are they planning to take on the True Achievements site?
