I want know what is better visual basic/c# or powerbuilder because powerbuilder has a something called datawindow not available in any programming language
My boss says nothing beats Powerbuilder's datawindow so I guess Powerbuilder for the win...

If you are primarily building data/CRUD apps like the ones with DataWindow, you should look at Visual Studio LightSwitch http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff851953.aspx.
