Which keyboard you'll choose

If you plan to buy Surface Pro 3, which of the following will you choose?

    1) Surface Pro 3 Type Cover with list price of $129.99
    2) Microsoft Universal Foldable Keyboard with list price of $99.95

I think the only drawback of the foldable keyboard is that it requires you to recharge it every 3 months - which is easy to forget.

@cheong:Why would you not go for the Surface Touch option? That is definitely the best for the Pro 3 😄

@Ian2: The on screen keyboard sometimes will get the control you're typing at completely covered, so it's at least not an ideal solution for the time being.

Btw, I think it's the first keyboard with WinPhone 8.1 support officially print as product feature (Are there others?) . So finally a long requested bluetooth keyboard for WP8.1 devices.

I wish my surface pro type cover had backlit keys. I also use my Microsoft Wireless Entertainment 8000 with my Surface Pro. Remaped several keys for visual studio.

I think ian my be referign to the touch-cover keyboard not the on-screen keyboard. I know for the pro 2 there are touch and type keyboards each is different, not sure if the 3 pro also had them both ??

@figuerres: Pro 3 only has type cover, and has backlit keys. It's not the greatest keyboard, but a big improvement over the on-screen keyboard if you're doing a lot of typing.

TypeCover, definitely It becomes part of the unit so there's not two separate things to juggle.
