There is nothing wrong with communicating; however, b!tching and moaning about something that is free crosses the line. No one on this forum pays a dime towards its operation. Microsoft pays the bill and Microsoft is the one allowed to moan. This site belongs to Microsoft and all posters are on Microsoft property. Please, let us act accordingly. Holy cow! My wife was right. I did wake up a grumpy old bear today.
If you are referring to me, I am so glad my voice is finally loud enough to be heard. Is was too weak, and now, it finally works.
Alternatively he might be talking about me. I complained about the years old bug where a code block would put all code lines onto one line.
BTW, it might be "free" but it is in MS's best interest to have it working properly to keep more developers from jumping ship. Do you think a free but annoying tech forum isn't going to ultimately drive away more people?
@BitFlipper: don't know about your thread. But, sounds oddly similar to my problem, just that yours has different entry point. I don't think MS cares about this forum. I mean, aside from 50 active users like us, who is using the forum enough to drive them away from MS? But, still, seeing such poor forum quality from MS is just depressing. MSDN forums on the other hand is much more mature, of course, that is way more important than this entire site for development support. I am quite sure they got more budgets than this site. Still, no matter how insignificant this forum is, I still believe the developers should still allocate enough time to provide a decent experience. I don't need it fancy. I just need it working properly.
I'm not calling out any one person or specific post. It was a general sense from reading and apparently I'm a really old grmpy grampa bear today.
Well, regardless. Grandpa bear is cute.
