I am somewhat experienced with C++ and i've been following the "Windows Store apps for Absolute Beginners with C#" and i really like the way it's being taught (thanks Bob Tabor!) and i understand the XAML code, but i lack the C# experience. When can we expect the C++ version?

@jVangsnes: It will come! I've been underwater busy and dropped the ball on this (to meet today's release...).
We WILL be releasing C++ Windows Store App dev tutorials in the near future on Channel 9.
I am not really interested in learning C# at this point, especially if a C++ version is coming up in the next few weeks. Please let us know!
@TTTNL: Ball dropped... Sorry. It's not easy to find someone like Bob who can teach using C++. They exist. We just need to find them. That said, there have been conversations about this both on the C9 team and with the VC++ team. I can't tell you when this will happen. I certainly appreciate that you want to learn about WSA development in the language you use and we really should make this happen, even if you can learn all you need to learn about Windows XAML by watching the C# tutorials. Still, C# is not your language and we should respect that.
Thanks for your reply. I have been looking for good C++ Xaml windows 8 tutorials but since i'm a beginner none of them are really targeted towards me. The "tutorial" Microsoft provides just makes you copy and paste code and asume you already know everything from experience gained in earlier Windows versions. Bob Tabor's tutorial was really well paced and i could grasp a lot of topics even in C# but that won't teach me how to make apps in C++. It's a shame microsoft isn't providing real beginner courses, I'm eager to learn how to develop Windows 8 apps, but i can't find good tutorials. Do you happen to know of any good Windows 8 C++ tutorials?
@TTTNL: So, you're not a C++ developer already? Are you asking about C++/CX training? The XAML stuff from the C# tutorial is exactly the same for C++ underneath (versus C#). If you already know C++, the tutorial you referenced from dev.windows.com is appropriate. Perhaps what we need is an Intro to Windows XAML tutorial and an Intro to C++ tutorial? The XAML concepts that Bob teaches are precisely the same ones for C++. That said, Bob doesn't know C++, so, again, we'd need to find someone of his caliber to do it... C
I am a beginner in C++, still learning, but i can roughly understand/lookup the code. I know the XAML in the C# tutorials is exactly the same but after a few videos it's starting to mix in with the C# code (eg. binding and resources) and then it gets a bit useless for me. And with "Windows 8 C++ tutorials" i meant tutorials about building Windows 8 apps using C++, not tutorials about C++.
