@clinechas: Let me know if you ever heard anything back about having an official BoF from MS - so far it looks like I've struck out, but still trying. If we can't get an official BoF we'll be sure to do an unoffical meetup.
I think we're going to end up doing an unofficial meetup. It's still better than nothing.
I would also be game. I'd be interested to see how others are using ADFS, SharePoint and Office 365 for faculty and students.
Hi All, I just got an email confirming the HigherEd BoF I proposed. Some of the topics I've got listed for possible discussion are below. Let me know if there is anything else you'd like to see on the list of possible topics.
I'm supposed to get the room, time, and other information soon. I'll post that info when I receive it.
Azure AD, AD Federated Services, other authentication solutions for cloud apps
AD integration with Kerberos and other directories
ADFS and Shibboleth
SCCM and other third party tools (Quest, etc)
Centrify for non-Microsoft systems
App-V and VMWare
Forefront Online Protection for Exchange
@clinechas:This is great. Thanks for posting the update.
Another voice for a HigherEd meetup.
Add Millsaps College to the list
Below is the information for the BoF, hope to see see you all there.
Title: The Evolving Role of Microsoft Technologies in Higher Education Time: 6/3 at 1:15 pm Room: 263
Yes, Let's meet up. I'm coming from Ohio and I've never been to new orleans before so where shall we meet?
@clinechas:Thanks. Will this show up in Schedule Builder?
@clinechas Thank you for setting it up. I'll be there.
Glad I can help out with this.
@Harjit: Great question - I just sent an email checking into this. When I get an answer I'll put up a post.
BoF sessions should be in Schedule Builder today or tomorrow.
