Will a MS Store be set up to hopefully sell discounted Surface Pros?

Will there be a Store set up as there has been in past Tech Eds.  If there is one will there be any Surface Pros or RTs at discounted prices?

I'm hoping they give away a ridiculous number of them rather than discount them at the store.

I sense serious wishful thinking here.

I'm from Cleveland Ohio and MS is having their grand opening of their new store in Beachwood Mall this Saturday. They are having Kelly Clarkson performing a concert to kick off this grand opening. I've been on the fence about the surface... it just seems like too much money to spend. Part of me is "tempted", but I've talked with the MS guys at the Kiosk and they mentioned that the Pro gets really REALLY hot!! I know MS will definitely be pushing this big at TechEd, but I don't know if they'll actually offer discounts.

I'm sure there will be a conference store, but I wouldn't hold my breath on discounts. In the past they have had mice, webcams, keyboards, etc. at discounted prices, but nothing earth-shattering.

I have a Surface Pro and I'm very happy with it. it does get warm and I wish the battery life was better, but it is the device I keep coming back to when I test others.

I have a surface pro and love it.  Batter life is a little low, but I hope that gets fixed in firmware updates in the future.  I love a full PC in a tablet form and not have to carry a full laptop during the conference.

Small thread hijack here, but could one do VS 2012 dev work (mostly WPF and with sql express on a surface pro?  I need something with a touch screen for touch ui testing, and was going to get a touch screen laptop, but wondered if a surface Pro would work.  Not my main dev machine, just something for testing and showing off the touch interface.

@DBegley will the store be included in the taxfree deal that us european visitors can enjoy?

@ljrivera:I'm hoping they'll be giving away some Surface Pros (or even RT) as well.  The last time that I went, everybody and their brother was giving away XBox 360's and Xbox 360 w/Kinnect kits as well.  I imagine they'll be some of that this year, but the Surface is probably a more interesting product at this point (is there anyone who wants an Xbox 360 that doesn't already have one yet?), with the RT version being the more affordable option for a giveaway.

There were also a number of Windows Phone giveaways in previous years as well.  Maybe I'll get lucky and score one this year.  My Droid 4 is a bit long in the tooth already, and that Lumia 928 is looking pretty nice...

I'll bank on buying one...  I am one of the unluckiest people in the world.
