    Thank you for participating in the Beta program. You must uninstall all pre-release products in a specific order before you can continue with setup. What's wrong with this?

    Hi,

    I've got the same problem - it's really annoying that I can't install the new version of WinFX Sad

    Here's another complaint. I just keep doing it and sending the error to MS.

    I tried this:
    "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.0\Windows Communication Foundation\ServiceModelReg.exe" -ua

    Which I found googling, but it didn't seem to work.

    (Still get this:
    [09/28/06,16:43:45] Windows Communication Foundation Beta 2: [2] Error: Installation failed for component Windows Communication Foundation Beta 2. MSI returned error code 1603
    [09/28/06,16:44:00] WapUI: [2] DepCheck indicates WinFX Runtime Components 3.0 - Beta 2 was not attempted to be installed.
    )

    Should I uninstall Microsoft .Net Framework 3.0?

    I re-ran  this:
    "C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v3.0\Windows Communication Foundation\ServiceModelReg.exe" -ua

    Then uninstalled .Net Framework 3.0
