    at the moment I selected a stylesheet which looks white, but which actually is not really 100% white.......it has a few blue dots in it which make the colour a littlebit blue.......... how can I select change this nackground colour to say pure white or pure black without any texture in the background, i.e. just one colour code?# Cheers Tom

    Suggestion: post a bit of code, and it may be easier to help you with this...Example:

    body
    {
     font-family: Times;
     background-color: rgb(255,255,255);
     color: rgb(0,0,0);
    }

    Changing the numbers in the "background-color" line above makes the difference...255=white, 0=black, etc.  And it depends where you are pulling the stylesheet from (as in, can you modify it, or is it coming from another source), if you are using CSS, or some other language...

    Or just:
    background-color: white;

    Or alternatively:
    background-color: #ffffff;
