Accessing user rss feeds in IE or Outlook

Prior to Win7, I used to use Juice to bulk download podcasts for later transfer to an mp3 player.  Unfortunately, Juice doesn't play well with Win7.  I found that Outlook would also download rss feeds and could receive the podcasts, too, but for some unknown reason, they felt that when a feed is downloading, the entire app should be blocked waiting for the data to show up.  I cannot fathom why this seemed like a good idea, but as of Outlook 2010, you can only download 1 feed at a time and Outlook is unusable while it downloads.

I figured "WTF, I could write this, make it multithreaded", and it would be a good way to boost my chops with WPF.  Plus, I wouldn't limit it to Office 2010.

Anyhoo, I'm currently parsing a saved .opml file that was created by IE using the 'export feeds' functionality.  This is fine, and it appears that this is the route that Outlook took, too, but I would like to be able to query IE for the subscribed feeds, instead.  Either I don't know the terminology or nobody has tried this yet, because I can't seem to find any useful information on it.

So: has anyone heard of a way to query IE for the feeds that it is subscribed to?  Should I even worry about IE or is there a better, more global location for feeds?
