Can you create a video file in a Windows 8 application?

    Just thinking of having, say generated .png files and putting 400 of them together to export a WMV file...something like that.

    @Harlequin: I'd probably handle this by executing FFMPEG in a command line... hate to say, but I have no idea if a Windows 8 app can shell out to an executable. This definitely would be processor dependent (as the FFMPEG executable is).

    Use Windows Movie Maker, part of Live Essentials You will need to drop down to the desktop though
