Disabling accounts in Windows 7

    I've got Windows 7 Ultimate, in a workgroup.  I'd like to be able to disable user accounts/profiles.  How do I do that?

    Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer Management > System Tools > Local Users and Groups > Users > %target user% > Properties > [X] Account is disabled

    Yes, but the powershell equivalent is, quite frankly, messy and verbose. Which is why it's handy that you can still use good old DOS commands in Powershell. Smiley

    That looks handy, and I could probably issue net user accountname/active:yes when I want to re-activate the account.
