My HTC Trophy is giving me problems (again), and so I'm going to have to reset it (again).
Is there any way I can list all of the apps I have on my phone, so that I can go this process again?
I believe if you go to your account online, you can get to a section that lists your purchase history. It lists all apps you downloaded, even the ones that are free. The nice thing is you can start a re-install right from there, and you won't have to pay again for apps. So without touching the phone you can re-install all apps.
When I upgraded to a Lumia 920, that is how I did it. At one point the phone showed it was downloading/installing 57 apps at the same time (well, queued at least). All apps installed without issues.
Be sure to be on WiFi before doing that though.
@BitFlipper: Thank you, that is exactly what I want!
Only downside is this will include all apps, even those you tried and decided to uninstall. If you've ever installed an app, it will be in this list and will be installed again, unless you go one by one and reinstall just the ones you want.
@wkempf: I didn't even notice whether there was an "install all" option or not. I did it one app at a time, and although there were a lot, the whole process was actually quite quick.
The good thing about that is that you can then choose to leave out the ones you don't want anymore. Also it showed me which apps were not compatible with WP8, roughly 10% or so.
