I've read up quite a bit on Stuxnet, seems to have been majorly cleverly engineered stuff.
Luckily I'm not running an Iranian uranium enrichment centrifuge.
It seems to be running better after a reboot, at 3 days uptime it was only 14,000 KB,
a complete ESET online scan revealed nothing by an old installer containing the ASK toolbar,
I'll wait to see if it happens again before running a more intensive rootkit scan or something.
To upgrade from 2GB to 8GB would cost £180 from Crucial, as the mobo only has two slots,
that seems rather a lot, has RAM been going up in price, or is it just that this PC still needs DDR2 which is now old fashioned?
