Just as with the various community standups, I get a lot of value out of this kind of Q&A format being included in the Build events. It always feels like it's compressed into too short a timeframe, though, so I would suggest that you please consider expanding it into a full hour or more timeslot (I have no doubt you'll be rushing to get in the last few questions even if you made it 2 full hours but the usual 26 or 27 minutes is certainly not enough time). Thanks for all the great work you do!
Excellent interview Seth. I sometimes find myself saying "please let them talk; stop derailing the train of thought" while I'm watching these videos (usually just when it's someone like Anders who could probably go on for hours without prompting--then again it must be tough to interview a techno-deity) but you really nailed this one. Great job guys.
Fantastic discussion...that has to be the single highest information-density-per-breath coming out of a single presenter that I've ever seen (although I'm still not sure what a kaylobite is . Keep these coming!
I wish there were 6 stars available for rating this show...for me the Sysinternals style discussion alone made this the best episode yet (no matter how many times I've heard Mark cover that stuff, it never gets old).
Just to throw in one other option if you happen to have the Sysinternals suite and don't have the required rundll32 parameters committed to memory, you can also use "psshutdown.exe -L" to lock the workstation from your autorun location of choice. (Probably ought to also include the -accepteula switch to avoid the 'accept agreement' dialog from popping up too).
