Great video, I love these ones that arn't overly polished and show real insight into how teams work. But my biggest take away is seeing Lauren Brose use a emoji on her display name within TFS. Brilliant idea!
I think it's great that I can access your content through YouTube. I find this site buggy and not particually pleasent to use. However you keep plugging that the content is available on YouTube but it isn't really. It's sporadically updated and in fact this very video isn't even on there.
I imagine you're only dipping your toes into YouTube and watching the views to see if it's worth more effort. But by not having content parity, I still have to come back here which defeats the point in the first place. I feel that the YouTube experiment is setup to fail.
A lot of videos about cool stuff coming down the pipe focuses on a technologies selling points or the rational behind it. They rarely answer my question, so how can I apply this where I currently work.
But you've hit the nail on the head with this one. I really like the format. Thanks!
That's a great video. Often I find people thinking of containers being these magic units of deployment out on some server. So this is a great way to visualise that a container is just another machine and that it can be used like any other machine.
