Always great to see Erik Meijer!! .. btw .. Rx is a great technology ...
@Indra: .. Its kinda pointless to argue about the superiority of manged versus native code .. the numbers speak for themselves .. but this time I can't resist ... Linq is a C# and VB thing .. its not native .. and as for C# vs C++ here's what the great Charles Petzold says .. "I became a strong advocate of managed code, and I really haven't had any reason to return to the world of message loops and wayward memory pointers. I already paid my Windows API dues, and plenty of them."
Your other point is valid .. it is a quite brittle approach ... but the fact is unless you own the data you always have the issue of somebody changing the api or format.

Wow... I'm looking forward to this one! .. Eric and Erik .. I'm gonna start the download in a minute ... Just wanna say to things ...My favorite C9 conversations/persons would be
- Erik M
- Anders (sorry Anders .. however, a strong case can be made for putting you on top)
- Wes Dyer (Charles can you get him to do one of these?)
- Eric Lippert
- Stephen Toub (he's on a lot but is always good!)
Another request ... can we get a few more non-MS interviews ... like say Doug Crockford (I know hes speaking at Mix)
Anyway .. great work Charles! and thanks Eric & Erik
This is awesome! I haven't seen anything this cool in a long time! ... People have written 'Cloud' based editors and compilers but this is a whole new level of cool! .. intellisense, multi-languages supported, background compilation .. a debugger is coming .. Wow!
And all on the Phone!!
