Truly brilliant approach to this and it can put MS back in the game if they fully embrace it. Let's face reality, not a lot of companies are going to allocate resources to support UWP development and this gets them their for free. MS really needs to enable fluent design using web tech though. It's how Material Design really took off and changed how people viewed Google in design circles. Fluent Design on the web could certainly do this for MS and potentially attract others to Windows development.
Is there a library out there that allows a dev to track head position and gaze from all these 3d cameras coming to market with windows hello? Would love to use that data to adjust my apps based on the users gaze, depth etc.
1. Has the removal of that single pixel border around windows been confirmed? I really need that.
2. Have they said if they will redesign the explorer app in this UI? Crucial for the look and feel of windows in general.
and a comment...
With the 3d cameras on a lot machines for windows hello, I wish we could use that data to track 3d gaze to support that depth and parallax for those users working on a monitor similar to that last demo.
