About the sabatical, do you still get paid? How long did you have to be an employee before you get say, a month off? I once worked for a startup when people started jumping ship, they gave us four weeks vacation as an incentive to stay, but we had so much work,
they wound up buying it back! I'm off to watch the Randy Pausch leture now.
The GUI didn't matter in the past? Of course it matters! It slows down productitity to learn a new IDE. Now I have to use that little window in the corner for adding event handlers. I liked ClassWizard. I bought VisualAssist from WholeTomato to improve
intellisense. Now I can't live without it. I will probably jump from VC6 to VS2005. Maybe I won't need the add in for VS2005.

I tried Photo Story and I like it. I started watching the demo first, but just jumped in and had a story going pretty quick. Nice Interface.
I emailed my stories to somebody though and they couldn't be played because a codec needed to be installed. This was on XP. I would have expected a box to pop up and a simple "Yes" answer would have downloaded and installed the codec.
