Got involved in technology when MS launched Windows 98 and Office. Back then computers were delivered with a huge manual on using the PC. I took mine home and read a chapter each night and went back to test stuff out. Eventually I moved from litigation trial secretary to MS Office trainer, then to support, database management, on to network administration and finally as director of technology and litigation support. Self taught for the most part and have learned a tremendous amount from some very talented experts. Along the way have received certifications in Concordance and Litigation Support.
I consider myself so very lucky to go to work everyday and do what I love most. More than a job, technology in the legal field is my chosen profession.
