I feel the exact same way. The purpose of interviewing someone is to find out what they have to say about something. If we wanted to know all about what the interviewer thought than we'd interview him, otherwise ASAIK an interviewer's role is to interview.
There were many times during the video you could tell Tony wanted to say something but because the other guy was spouting off he couldn't. He'd try to say it again and then nope, cut off once more.

I'll put my vote with you - the handheld is very personable. Now, if i were watching these videos with VR goggles...that might be different, but on a tiny media player screen I think i'll be able to handle it.
